Bicycles, tricycles and other items will be given away at the Psi Iota Xi's annual Bunny Breakfast. The event will be 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 14, at Sand Creek Elementary School. Local teacher debuts art depicting JC life
Starting July 1 through July 31, Perceptions Yoga, Mind-fulness and Art gallery space will be filled with work from local artist, Marilyn Wathen. Wathen has been a teacher at Jennings County High School for 22 years. Her art show, which she calls "River Life," is a reflection of life in Jennings County and more specifically, the Muscatatuck River.

Hoosier National Guardsmen are set for overseas deployment
Approximately 45 Indiana National Guardsmen with the 939th Military Police Detachment, headquartered at Tyndall Armory in Indianapolis, will hold a departure ceremony, 11 a.m. Thursday, June 25, at the Camp Atterbury Railhead Processing Center, building 3011, to honor and commemorate the deployment of National Guard soldiers.
