Street Rod racing to draw crowd in L'ville
Street Rod Nationals returns to Louisville for the 23rd year, with up to 15,000 street rods, classics and muscle cars from the 1950s, '60s and '70s. The vehicles roar into the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville for the National Street Rod Association's 48th annual event, drawing an anticipated 70,000 visitors. The total value of street rods at Nationals is an estimated $385 million.

The Indiana Historical Society (IHS) is celebrating Hoosier innovations and inventions with a new exhibit aboard the Indiana History Train at the Indiana State Fair. Fairgoers can hop on board the Indiana History Train to see the exhibit, Made in Indiana, daily (Aug. 4-20), from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. It is located in Family Fun Park, next to Pioneer Village, on the northeast side of the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
