The Vespers will perform in concert on Saturday, April 4, at The Bishop in Bloomington. The Nashville, Tenn., born and bred Americana band, led by sisters Callie and Phoebe Cryar and brothers Bruno and Taylor Jones, have an aptly titled recently released third album, "Sisters and Brothers." Spring Blossom Fest in Brown County will transport you 'Back to the Future'
On May 1 and 2, the Brown County Democrat newspaper will sponsor the inaugural Spring Blossom Festival. This year's festival will give a nod to the movie trilogy "Back to the Future," where a Delorean time machine visited the years 1985-1955, 1985-2015, and finally 1985-1885.

The Freeman Army Air Field Museum is hosting an open house and rededication ceremony on Saturday. April 25, from 10 am. to 3 p.m. Freeman Field is located at 1035 A Avenue in Seymour.

KidsFest 2015 is Saturday
Kids Fest 2015 will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 25, at the Seymour High School. The event is sponsored by Seymour Noon Lions.
The event is free .
There are children's health screenings, a 4-H bike rodeo, petting zoo, model train display, wheeled vehicles and lots of games and demonstrations.

It's that time of the year again. This Friday and Saturday, the Jennings County High School Music Department will present their spring musical. This year's musical is "West Side Story," the retelling of the Romeo and Juliet tragedy set in the 1950s. The musical will start at 7 p.m. on bothFriday and Saturday and ticket prices will be $5 for students and $8 for adults.

The theme of the 2015 after prom is "A Night at the Movies". It will be after the prom from 11:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. There will be no charge to attend. There will be free food including Walking Tacos, pizza, BBQ, ice cream sundaes, cookies and brownies.
