Teen, children and adult programs at Library
Please, note that all programs will take place in the conference rooms instead of the program room to allow for social distancing or will take place utilizing the main parts of the library.
Summer Reading Closing Ceremony: Saturday, July 18. 10:00 am.
It is time for us to come to "The End" of our Summer Reading Program. Join us for our prize drawing and to celebrate reaching our community goal of 1,000,000 minutes with Cincinnati Circus. They will be bringing a bounce house, water slide, games, and much more.
Teen Advisory Board: Tuesday, July 21. 6:00 pm.
Teens will get a chance to step into the role of a librarian. They will help plan programs, decide on books to be added to the teen collection, and help find ways to give back to our community.
Face to Facebook Club: Wednesday, July 22. 6:00 pm.
Join us at the library or via the library's Facebook page as we discuss our latest book live.
Breakout Room: Muggle Mystery: Tuesday, July 14. 6:00 pm.
Lord Voldemort has broken into the room and has left the most revealing of secrets. Do the Muggles have what it takes to decipher the clues and BreakOut? Muggles must register by Monday, July 13, by 9 pm.
Creative Scribe Hive: Wednesday, July 15. 6:00 pm.
Imagine your story and put it to paper. The library will provide notebooks for teens to unleash their creative words. Writing prompts will be provided, and teens will be welcome to provide prompts or write.
Children's Story Time
Storytime is a great way for little ones to work on speech development as well as learning to interact with other children of the same age. During storytime, the library, children can use their imaginations and interact with the books. During storytime, children sing dance and create a craft to go along with the story of the day.

Children's Music Club
Wee One's Music Club complements storytime to offer another avenue of learning early literacy skills to set your child off on a healthy path through life. This program structured for children ages 0-5 years old and their caregiver(s). Older siblings are also welcome! Come dressed to move--this one's a workout for the grown-ups!

Join Tori on Tuesday nights for our new S.T.E.M. Club! During the club, children will participate in a different S.T.E.M. activity each week. Our goal is to further the children's love and understanding of science, technology, engineering, and math.

LEGO Club is a great place for children ages 5-12 to practice their engineering skills! A new set of building challenges is available each time we meet. Look for your child's creations on the library's Facebook page following the meeting.
Fairytale Scavenger Hunt: Tuesday, July 14. 11:00 am.
Children of all ages and their grown-ups are welcome to participate in our fairytale scavenger hunt through the library.
Cookbook Club: Monday, July 13. 6:00 pm.
Learn to make dinner for less and make dinner ahead to save money and stay in budget! Each month we will go over recipes. For more information contact Grace, Adult Programming Coordinator 812-346-2091 ext 1230.
