The Brush Creek Elementary School Drama Club will present "The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley Jr." at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 18, at the Park Theatre. Known around the world for her powerful voice and perfect pitch, Tony Award-winning actress Lea Salonga will perform as a part of the Cabaret at The Commons series on Wednesday, May 1, at 7:30 p.m. The concert is close to a sellout.
This season's exhibition features work by Chicago-based artist Delano Dunn in "New Stories of the American Negro," and "Soft Power," with work by Indianapolis-based artists Erin K Drew, Samuel Levi Jones, Gary Schmitt, Meredith Setser and Jamie Lynn Williams. This exhibition is made possible by a grant from the African American Fund of Bartholomew County with additional support from Tom and Mary Harmon.
